Verdigris Chronicle is an independent steampunk culture reference for iPhone and iPad. We built it for fans who want one steady place to discover films, series, games, and community content — without noise, accounts, or clutter.
Inside the app you browse curated steampunk cinema, follow TV chronicles, collect games in the Cogworks, laugh at Foundry memes, and sharpen your knowledge in the Observatory. Your watchlists, favorites, quiz streaks, and progress stay on your device.
Verdigris is not affiliated with any film studio, TV network, game publisher, or developer. Poster and game artwork may load from Wikimedia Commons, TMDB, and RAWG when available.

Verdigris Chronicle is designed around local storage. We do not operate user accounts, and we do not sell your personal information.

This Privacy Policy describes how Verdigris Chronicle (the "Application") handles information when you use our steampunk culture companion app. The Application is provided by MILA'S UNIQUE BOUTIQUE, LLC, 11242 S Foothills Blvd Ste 28, Yuma, Arizona 85367-7721, United States ("we", "us", or "our").
Information We Collect
Verdigris Chronicle does not require an account, sign-up, or login. We do not ask for your name, email, phone number, or location inside the app. We do not run third-party analytics or advertising trackers.
The following data is stored locally on your device only:
- Display name you choose in settings
- Watchlists, favorites, and collection status
- Series and episode progress
- Quiz streaks and profile preferences
- Cached poster and artwork images
- Live Activity and notification preferences you enable
Third-Party Content Services
To show film posters, metadata, and game artwork, the app may request public information from TMDB, RAWG, and Wikimedia Commons when you browse related content. API keys used for these requests are stored locally in the app configuration. We do not transmit your personal profile or watchlist data to these services.
How We Use Information
Because we do not collect personal data on our servers, there is nothing for us to profile, share, or sell. All app features — Cinema, Chronicle, Foundry, Cogworks, and Observatory — operate using data stored on your device.
Data Storage & Retention
All of your content remains in the app's private storage on your device. There is no cloud sync and no remote backup operated by us. Deleting the app permanently removes associated local data from your device.
Notifications
If you enable notifications or Live Activity, those features use Apple's system frameworks on your device. We do not receive the content of your Lock Screen or notification data on our servers.
Children's Privacy
The Application does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Because no personal data is collected or transmitted to us, the app is suitable for general audiences under COPPA and similar standards.
Your Control
You can edit or delete your local data at any time through the app — clear image cache, remove favorites, or uninstall the Application to remove all stored content from your device.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy to reflect app improvements or legal requirements. When we do, we will revise the effective date above. The core commitment — local storage, no accounts, no sale of personal data — will not change without clear notice.
